The ability to provide better and healthier environments becomes the most important morale boosting factor. The Society has been performing ably in this field and has shown much appreciated results:

  1. In Year 2004 – A Rural Health Centre was launched in Domeli Khepar, District Rawalpindi. This centre provides basic health care facilities to a remote community. Financial assistance was provided by CIDA.
  2. In Years 2001 – 2005 – Deaf & Dumb School, Main Burki Stop, Opp. NADRA, Gujar Khan. A one of its kind, school for the mentally handicapped and special children was launched under the banner of the Society in Gujar Khan where free of cost education was being provided. Free books and physiotherapy was also provided free of charge up till the year 2005. At the end of 2005 NCLSW was forced to terminate the operations due to lack of funding. It is worthwhile to note that 190 disabled persons from this centre during its tenure.
  3. In Year 2003 – A fund raising musical concert was organized at Marriott Hotel Islamabad to raise funds for disabled persons. Famous singer Faakhir was the main attraction.
  4. In Years 2003/04 – Free Medical Camps with special emphasis on the health of the Women (Eye diseases & Hepatitis) have been arranged Gujar Khan, Chakwal Road, and Dargali Syedian District Rawalpindi.
  5. In Year 2006 – A Seminar on Early Child Health was held in Hotel Holiday. MS Rawalpindi General Hospital Mr. Khalid Ranjha was invited to preside.
  6. Currently a philanthropist has donated 6 Kanals of free hold land to NCLSW in Kumb Ilyas Village Dhodhowal District Gujar Khan for construction of a hospital. Funds are being solicited for launching this much needed medical facility.
  7. Special educational training workshops have been conducted to raise awareness about the diseases of Poliomyelitis, HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis, with a view to provide better and concise understanding about the respective causes and preventive measures.
